Come and See…

From this term we are following a new Religious Education programme, called Come and See. It includes more exciting work and interesting activities to help you to grow in your knowledge and understanding of God and his people. Each class will be covering different topics, but all based on the same themes.

Come and See is an invitation to explore God’s word. It is a promise of life for everyone. The invitation is open to all. Insert picture God’s Story 2 page 24-25, Jesus preaching

In response to the question ‘Where do you live?’ which was asked by the disciples, Jesus invited them to What’s in a Name? ‘Come and See.’ (John 1:39) The disciples went with Jesus ‘and spent the rest of that day with him.’ Insert picture God’s Story 2 page 66-67

Later on in the same gospel (John 4:28-30) Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well. She is so inspired by Jesus that she returns to her village as a witness to his love and invites the other villagers to ‘Come and see the man who told me everything I have ever done.
