2 FLS Reform Model We work with school and district teams to create a sense of urgency around school change that results in improved student achievement.

3 We measure our success by how well students perform!

4 FLS Reform Model What do we do? Assist teams in identifying their current reality through courageous conversations and assessments; creating their preferred future; and charting a course to get there Creating ownership in the process

6 FLS Reform Model Focus on teaching and learning Focus on individual student learning by collaborating around student achievement and implementing early interventions Empowering leadership teams

7 FLS Reform Model Most principals spend from 40 to 80 percent of their time in or around the office area 23 to 40 percent is spent in hallways and on the playground 11 percent is spend off campus 2.5 to 10 percent is spent in classrooms …even though we know that classroom observations, problem solving with teachers, and facilitating teacher reflections can significantly impact student achievement
