Walk in the Light

This is the news, the good news we heard from and saw in the life of Jesus (who is the complete and true revelation of what real life is). Now we ring out this declaration that he, with all authority, commissioned us to proclaim: “God is light! In Him there is not the slightest speck of darkness.”

Now suppose we tell everyone that we have a partnership, a communion and relationship with God who is Light and yet we live our lives covering up and hiding, keeping out what God’s purity and holiness exposes in our lives…well, we are lying to ourselves and do not live in the open and revealing light of God. But if we live our lives in open exposure of God’s light, his glorious light that penetrates and shows us who we are; that partnership, communion and relationship with God exists and the blood of Jesus, His Son, continually whitewashes and cleanses and takes away absolutely all sin in our lives.
