Rene-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle La Salle was a French explorer who came to Texas a long time ago but before that he was sent by the king to go look for more land but then when he came back to France he asked the king for more ships and more people when he came back he landed in the wrong place about 400miles in the wrong place.So with some of his soldiers came with him but then when he came back he had landed somewhere in Texas. So then after that La Salle build a fort in Texas then his soldiers turned against him and killed him.

Alonso Alvarez de Piñeda In1519,Pineda sailed into the gulf coast finding places to settle. He drew the first map of the Texas coastline and he also was the first Spanish Explorer to reach Texas.

Alvar Nunez Cabana de Vaca In 1528,a group of about 600 Spaniards landed near Tampa Bay witch is now none as Florida. And one of the group members in the group was Cabeza de Vaca. So they sat out to have a great adventure. So they tried to go back to the ship but they couldn't find there way back. But when they builder rafts to had out to the coast of Mexico but then a big storm blew them shore. The man thought they wasn’t going to make it then one morning the named Cabeza de Vaca heard the sounds of breaking waves. The other man had woken in a surprise In the month of November6,1528 Cabeza de Vaca and his other man landed in Texas, Galveston island.And only fifteen ma survived. Sooner they met the native Americans they did different things and trailed different things. But later on man started to die but when that was happing Cabez de Vaca still traveled and met the coahuiltecans.

Comanche's Comanche where very fierce warriors that lived in the southern plains of Texas and they even used to do a lot of trade fairs.
