THE HACKNEY HUB NATURAL GAS STORAGE FIELD Morgan County Ohio

Strategically located in southeastern Ohio at the crossroads of four major natural gas interstate pipeline systems and numerous intrastate markets, The Hackney Hub will provide marketing flexibility and maximum exposure to the important gas markets in the northeast.

Ohio Oil and Gas Pipelines as of 1989 The Hackney Hub located in Morgan County, Ohio Ohio is crossed by many interstate and intrastate pipelines The Hackney Hub will have access to these and other natural gas pipeline and marketing systems

The Hackney Hub From the Hackney Storage Field, encompassing 4,385 acres, through Hackney pipelines, storage gas can be delivered to these and other marketing and transportation systems: Texas Eastern Transmission Tennessee Gas Transmission Columbia Gas Transmission Rockies Express (REX) East Ohio Gas Columbia Gas of Ohio As well as to area power plants

The Hackney Hub Hub and Storage Capabilities: 6.2 Bcf Storage Capacity 5 Bcf Working Gas Capacity 90 MMcf per day Peak Deliverability

Geology The 4,395 acre Hackney Storage Field will be converted from a producing gas reservoir in the Oriskany Sandstone of the Devonian Age. Reservoir is porous and permeable to accept storage gas Overlain and underlain by impermeable limestones to contain the storage gas

Low Development and Operating Costs 26 wells owned by Hackney Partners encompassing 90.4% of oil and gas leases and 75% of storage rights Only 8 wells and remaining storage rights will need to be acquired Initial Interconnects to Texas Eastern and East Ohio will require less than 8 miles of pipeline, only 20 miles to other systems 26 wells can be converted for storage use Only 5 new wells must be drilled Annual operating costs estimated at less than $500,000

Marketing Strategies Strategies Proximity to numerous gas pipelines and markets Multidirectional, high-rate compressors to move gas in both directions Rapid injection and withdrawal capabilities to take advantage of seasonal highs and lows in both price and demand Arbitrage mode of operations to take advantage of interstate pipelines and markets Flexibility and security for distribution companies, utilities and end users

The Hackney Hub Geologically Sound Location Strategically Located near Pipelines Low Cost Development Low Operating Costs Proximity to Many Gas Markets Flexibility of Operations Varied and Profitable Marketing Opportunities Project Longevity
