Transport Technology By Jesse

When the car radio was created, The car radio did not come with the car, it had to be bought separately. Where as now days nearly every car has a car radio. This invention was created by Paul Galvin. Changes between cars Air-conditioning was introduced to cars in This invention made cars a lot more comfortable, especially on really hot days. At first, the air-conditioning was a little bit awkward. To turn the air-conditioner off, the driver had to stop the car, get out and disconnect a tube located under the bonnet. The cars through time have changed style as in, on the old car, the lights and the wheels are sticking out and now the cars are lower and there are better engines for speed.

Changes between trains Trains have changed style as in the old one has parts sticking out whereas the other one is smooth looking, and now we have a variety of different colored trains Trains used to be powered by coal. (Steam engines). While now days, trains run on electricity and some are even propelled by magnets. In current times, thousands of people used trains every day to get to work.

Changes between bicycles Before the introduction of bicycle chain pedals the only way to get the bike to go faster was by making the front wheel ( with the pedals) bigger, as one revolution of a bigger wheel will cover more ground than one revolution of a smaller wheel. Why does a penny farthing have a big wheel? As bicycles have changed they got gears to go faster with and got way more comftorble. Now days bicycles are often made out of carbon fibre which makes them lighter
