In lieu of a Director of Organizational Development at this time, we are recommending an Organizational Development Consultant to develop a strong understanding of organizational readiness to achieve our long-range goals and create an organizational development strategy for future 5

 Interviewed seven Organizational Development consultants  Received formal quotes from two consultants  Analyzed goals and outcomes proposed, costs and conducted reference checks  Identified our number one choice – JCD Advisors, LLC (Ann Arbor, MI) 6

 Contract with JCD Advisors, LLC, Organizational Development Consulting firm ($58,000)* to develop a College Readiness Assessment and create an Organizational Development Strategy in which at minimum the following would occur: − Clearly articulated intended culture − Clearly identified gaps between current and intended culture − Recommendations for improvements in Organizational Development tools and programs to ensure alignment with intended culture − Integrated communication plan to support successful dissemination of information about culture and Organizational Development work − Thorough assessment of Organizational Development team and vacancy with recommendations for changes in structure/functions and/or development *Budgeted dollars available due to Director vacancy ($58,000 is equivalent to one-half salary and benefits of vacant Director, Organizational Development position) 7
