How To Survive Grade 7 Math…

Work together Listen carefully Raise your hand Be respectful Participate Ask questions when necessary Obtain good grades Get work done Complete homework and/or assignments when asked Hand work in on time (be aware of due dates) Follow classroom rules Always talk about your school work

Fractions/Decimals/ Percentages

This topic appears in almost every unit Make sure you read the question very carefully Pay attention to the different techniques used to change each mathematical format. Ex: decimals  fractions Ask as many questions when having difficulty, as said before this topic NEVER disappears through out the year

Data Management The average number of a data set. The middle number in a data set. The most common number in a data set.

Remember your definitions (mean, median, and mode) You will be focusing on this unit for a fair amount of time, therefore pay attention in class, there will be tests Like any unit if you don’t understand ALWAYS stay positive and ask for help
