Round when: You have been asked to estimate. Look for the clue word “about”. You need an easier number to work with.

Rounding Poem Find your number. Look next door. If 4 or less, just ignore. If 5 or more, add 1 more.

Round to the nearest ten. Find your number. 37 Underline your number.
