Final Role Plays  Not looking for perfection, but for good beginner counselor skills  We are looking for use of client-centered counseling skills, use of do’s and don’ts, and incorporation of our feedback  Observations are cumulative Mod 14 (2 of 3)

Instructions  Begin session after sample has been taken,  “So, what brings you in for testing today?”, or “How’s your finger?”  Counsel for 12 minutes (listen for trainer prompts)  Leave the room for 2 minutes for results  Give results and counsel - 5 minutes (listen for trainer prompts)  Client roles – be an EASY client!
