EastSouth West Moon Phases Simulation 1. Sketch the shape of the Moon in each view. 2. Measure separation of Sun and Moon in “finger-widths” 3. Record that separation by the sketched shape. We will observe the Sun and Moon every few days right around sunset time. Imagine the horizon in these pictures extending all the way from one side of the sky to the other, east to west.
