She was excited as the eggs began to crack open, and she quickly counted one, two, three, four, five, six brand new yellow baby ducklings! 1

In the pond were three beautiful white birds with long graceful necks. "Maybe they will let me swim with them, even though I am just a duckling," he thought. As he moved into the pond, he looked at his reflection in the water. 9
