Kind of a side-scroller  Travel:  up into the clouds  down into the earth’s crust  as well as to the left and right.  Explore levels Mario style, deciding whether to travel the path leading up, down, left, or right. (But being able to go back and play other paths)

 Players control an exploring a map of simple levels.  Different paths may lead to different characters who provide a story for their path  Perhaps different weapons can be collected on different paths, maybe they are more effective on enemies of the path you are on or another one?

 Enemies could vary in weakness, appearance, or any other way based on path  Each path could potentially have it’s own simple boss
