Presentation transcript:

Google Glass is a wearable computer with an optical head mounted display or OHMD (Wikipedia).

Google Glass requires the MyGlassApp. Follow the directions and pair your Google device ( Once Google Glass is paired you may begin.

Students will have the point of view as if they are there. -it-feels/#video=hif-video

As an one on one tutor. To share hands on lessons. To create field trip like experiences without leaving the classroom.

Students can connect with other classrooms in other parts of the world (Social Studies/Geography lessons can come alive). Students could learn the customs of other cultures while connecting with others via Google Class.

Students home sick or even home schooled students could have a real time connection with classroom teachers. Students would be able to create plays and/or short documentaries as school projects.

Remote guest speakers for each child. Students can have the option of “attending” certain seminars. Teachers can create video guides for “centers” as children work silently and individually around the room.

Google Glass in the classroom can provide teachers and students with ever- ready research options. Google Glass can add another dimension to flipped classrooms.
