Intro.  We’re going to teach you about how people think dinosaurs became extinct and the theories of how people think dinosaurs became extinct.

The Story of How Dinosaurs Became Extinct  The most popular theory is an asteroid hit earth and it burst into a ball of fire. Dust filled the air and that made it dark as night when it was day. The asteroid smashed into earth.

The Story of How Dinosaurs Became Extinct  The asteroid made an 100 mile long crater.( A crater is a giant hole in the earth.)Rocks burst from the crater. The explosion caused huge waves and earthquakes. Most Triceratops drowned in water.

Other Animals  Some animals might have hid under ground or underwater. Some other animals didn`t need a lot food to survive. Birds, frogs, turtles, crocodiles, cockroaches and mammals survived.

Parasaurolophuses  After the fire stopped in the north a couple of Parasaurolophuses(Say this Par-ah-saw-rol- oh-fus-es) survived. The Parasaurolophuses had hidden in a cave. A lot of them were hurt. All were hungry. The Parasaurolophuses slowly went out. It was dark and cold.

Parasaurolophuses  All the other dinosaurs were bones. The Parasaurolophuses could not find plants to eat. They grew weaker. They began to die. There was only one left then it died. Two animals came out they were mammals. They had survived. Some dug and found roots others ate Parasaurolophuses meat. They had survived and now the world was theirs.

Theories  The most popular theories are: the ice age, huge waves, earth quakes or an asteroid, huge waves and lots of earth quakes.

Ending  Now you learned the story of the most popular theory and some other theories. THE END
