7 "The doctors really supported me. They told me to adhere to my medications and clinic dates. I followed everything they told me and today I am here with my baby graduating and my baby is HIV negative. I don’t know what to tell all the doctors here the only thing I can say is that God bless you” Mother of a graduating HEI Nyanza districts organized successful HIV exposed infant graduation ceremonies Celebrated over 300 infants completing 18 months of follow-up with HIV negative status HEI currently in follow up also attended; motivation for continued follow up The celebration included entertainment by the children’s club members; gifts for the mothers and children; interactive forums to share experiences and lessons learned among moms; and speeches by district officials. There were health talks on best practices for feeding, antenatal visits, immunization, hospital delivery, family planning and male involvement as well.
