Manual Operation – Home Position Turn 190VMCxi power on Gently push E-stop Gently turn E-stop to the right and release Push the blue Cycle Reset button Under E-stop Wait until manual/auto control illuminates 10 to 20 seconds Press the blue Home button (2 parallel slashes) Located in top right corner of control panel Machine tables relocate themselves to the home position Z-axis up and X and Y tables to the front left corner
Manual Machine Operations After Homing the controls Open the Boxford Application software Select the 190VMCxi Under <View> menu, Select <Feedback> This allows seeing a time delayed feedback of X, Y, and Z axis speed and positions Also, the spindle speed is displayed
Manual Manipulation Get in teams of 3 and safely exercise all of the manual machine controls Attempt to exactly locate the mill spindle at (75, 75, 100) Document in your PMB your observations.
