Who am I? Can you guess what I am from the clues? When you think you know, draw your answer on your whiteboard. Shape Detectives

Okay, are you ready?

Clue number 1 I am a 2D shape. What’s 2D?

Clue number 2 I have 4 vertices. What’s a vertex?

Clue number 3 All my angles are right angles. What’s a right angle?

Clue number 4 I have 4 sides. Two sides are long, two are shorter.

The answer… I am a rectangle

Are you ready for the next set of clues?

Clue number 1 I am a 3D shape. What’s 3D?

Clue number 2 I have one flat face and one curved face. What’s a face?

Clue number 3 My flat face is a circle.

Clue number 4 I am shaped like a party hat!

The answer… I am a cone

Are you ready for the last set of clues? This is a really hard one! Brains ready…

Clue number 1 I am not a shape.

Clue number 2 I have one vertex.

Clue number 3 The angle of my vertex measures 90 degrees. What’s a degree?

Clue number 4 You would find four of me in a square.

The answer… I am a right angle

Were you right? If you got 1 right answer, hold 1 thumb up. If you got 2 right answers, hold both thumbs up. If you got them all right, pat yourself on the back.

Well done
