CRK SS 3 TOPIC : BAPTISM AND TEMPTATION OF JESUS CHRIST

SUB-TOPIC : The Baptism Bible passages: Matt. 3:13-17 Mk. 1:9-11 Lk.3:21-22 The meaning of Baptism:- It is the practice of Christian church which involves dipping into water completely [immersion] or the pouring of water by the Priest on the face of the person being baptised. Oftentimes, it is followed with giving the person a new name.

The Purpose of Baptism It is a sign of washing away the original sin and also it shows that the person has become a member of the church. It marks the transition of a Christian into a ne Baptism marked the first public confirmation of Jesus earthly ministry and Messiahship.
