The Partnership for Animal Welfare invites alumni, friends, supporters and volunteers to PAW-Prints in the Park Sunday, June 10, am to 3 pm Whitemarsh Park, Bowie, MD Register at 11 a.m. for the 1/2 mile or 1 mile WALK on the Whitemarsh Nature Trail WALK starts at Noon Flyball Demonstration by 4 Dog Night Freesytle Demonstration by Chesapeake Rock ‘n Rover Dog Caricatures by Big Heads and Little Bodies Visit and photo op with Louie from Bowie, Bowie Baysox Mascot Animal Bandage Demonstration Silent Auction Beverages, Snacks and PAW Merchandise for Sale Enjoy the Park and nearby Playground and Wooded Trails Cat Photo Contest Bring pictures of your favorite feline friends for judging by our panel of experts! Adoption shows are held in the suburban Maryland area several times a month to allow prospective owners to meet with the animals and with volunteers. The group is funded by tax deductible donations and is run totally by volunteers. If you are able to help out by providing time, money or a foster home for a homeless pet, please contact us. Come relax with us on Sunday, June 10th and enjoy the camaraderie of other PAW supporters and their pets. Whitemarsh Park has wonderful nature trails, a bike trail, and small playground. In addition to the PAW Park Walk, friends of PAW can check out our silent auction and bake sale. Snack foods and cold drinks will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting PAW animals. Feel free to bring your own picnic and lawn chairs. WALK prizes $20 donation - receive a PAW water bottle! $50 donation - receive a PAW bandanna and a PAW water bottle! $100 donation - receive a PAW bandanna, PAW water bottle, and a PAW T-shirt! Special prize for the top donation collector! In addition, all WALK registrants will be eligible for Door Prizes! Please Note: All animals at the event must have current vaccinations and must be leashed at all times. No female dogs in heat will be allowed. Water bowls for dogs and other animals will be provided along the WALK. All owners will be required to clean up after their animals. Baggies will be provided.
