Geonodo administrator must have a user account in the Geoportal of Chile for uploading the XML of metadata records generated by Geonodo. As we have focused on a citizen approach, many good things had happened: 1. Our authorities understand *better* our work 2. We have boosted up the interoperability of Geoportal 3. We have had press appearences, a little step towards having a spatial enabledsociety. GSDI 13 Conference - May Quebec

Next steps Geospatial World Forum 2013 – Rotterdam, The Netherlands  Understand the needs from municipalities so to help the build useful geoportals - geonodos.  Work on parcel or cadaster information.  Attend new needs through geoportal: for instance, implement basic geoprocess.  Launch the national geoportal.  The new SDI law will change the scenario.
