Multiple Access solutions are optimized to support many simultaneous mobile users at short range. Typically - Multiple Access systems are a poor choice for backhaul.

Outdoor AW24V - 24VAC power common in security markets The indoor radios are compatible with 48VDC to 5VDC Linksys POE splitter (model WAPPOE $35) The indoor radios can be powered from 5VDC to 7VDC The outdoor radios can be POE powered from 6VDC to 48VDC. For solar applications it is possible to power with as little as 3.2VDC at 350mA = 1 Watt of power draw.
