Presentation transcript:

 When a child works more then the minimum number of hours depending on the age of a child and its job. This work is considered harmful to the child and should be eliminated.  It is work that harms children or keeps them from attending school  Involves intolerable abuse, such as child slavery, child trafficking, forced labor, or illicit activates

 This issue is important because the people of Bangladesh are suffering. There is about 150 million people that live below poverty line 3.2 million child laborers. Children between 5-7 work in jobs such as auto workshop, road transport, tobacco factory, farming, ect. And they only make around 222 tacos ( 3.3 USD) a week to support their families and pay for food and rent. This is preventing them from getting education, play, and leisure. Only 25% of children in the slums attend school and the rest work in child labor. Bangladesh is rapidly growing with poverty and child laborers this country needs help from people like you to help all these issues.

 This topic affects many children manly boys ¾ of all working children, and the rest is girls that work as full time house maids. The places where they work has a lot of heat, smoke, and dirtiness. In result causes health problems such as one of the main ones malnutrition. It also affects the families to come because of lack of education. The government benefits because by all the exporting the country is making money.

 Bangladesh is a very populated country. The country is 147,570 km² with a population of million people. Because of the very big population bangladesh has many poor people, around 7.4 million children work in hazardous conditions. Also because of a big population resources run low and there is not enough essentials, less space, and not suitable for living. The amount of poverty is also bad for the country because these are the people who are not aware of things which average people should know, these people can't have an education. There are about 45 million people almost one third of the country. The most of poverty and lack of education has an effect on the country, and only about 25% go to school the rest work in labor.

 The Bangladesh government is a parliamentary democracy, which means ruled by the people. Bangladesh is a poor country and many people have no education. The governments management for healthcare, Education, and the law affect child labor. Because if the law that children under 14 are not allowed to work in hazardous conditions. There would be even more child laborers, but there is still many because the law is not enforced. Healthcare system is very poor, only 4% of the healthcare in bangladeshour village doctors who are trained also there are 62% of the healthcare is in Bangladesh. The poor health conditions in Bangladesh are malnutrition, dehydration, underweight, diarrhea, etc. lastly education children don't often get much education. In ministry of Bangladesh allows School to be free till the age of 14 about half of the children I don't go to school and had to work with them stuck in the low-paying low skill jobs.

 Market economy which means decisions are made regarding investment, production, and distribution which are based on demand and supply  Things that Bangladesh import are food, Chemical Products, Textile product, Electrical & Electronic Products, and Engineering Products  Natural disaster: 0.10 droughts, 2.19 floods, and 0.23 earthquakes a year  Many people live in small huts or in the streets  Small amount of medical service

Pull Factors to the U.S

World revolves around the children. Children's future revolves around education. Stop child labor

Child labor and poverty are inevitably bound together and if you continue to use the labor of children as the treatment for social disease of poverty, you will have both poverty and child labor to end of time.  by: enonomise
