From choice, a world of possibilities Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme in Crisis and Post Crisis Situations

An Overview: SPRINT (Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme in Humanitarian Settings) Addressing all stages of the emergency management cycle. Improving the health outcomes of crisis affected populations by reducing preventable SRH morbidity and mortality. Increasing the timely access for crisis affected populations to life-saving sexual and reproductive health services as outlined in the Minimum Initial Services Package (MISP). Providing services ranging from emergency obstetric care (EmOnC) for pregnant women, antenatal care, services for sexual and gender-based violence (GBV), sexually transmitted diseases (STI), including HIV/AIDs, and family

In our experience…… September % health service delivery points were damaged during Baluchistan Earthquake. May “After an hour and a half when we reached the district health centre, there was no doctor however after I made a scene, a doctor came and checked and pronounced her dead due to obstructed labour. I will never forget that night, she was only 24 years old”- Saifullah, age 35 Afghanistan
