Joachim PeiperMalmédy Massacre The Sixth Panzer Army, led by Sepp Dietrich, was to lead the attack and to capture AntwerpSepp Dietrich The Fifth Panzer Army, led by Manteuffel, was to capture American Forces and to capture the strategic road The Seventh Army, led by Brandenberger, was to attack the southern flank to make sure that the American force wouldn’t be able to do anything.
