System Integration or Analysis

System Analysis system analysis is the division of a system into its component pieces to study how those component pieces interact and work we do a system analysis to subsequently perform a system synthesis System synthesis system synthesis is the re-assembly of a system component pieces back into a whole system it is hoped an improved system

System Analysis System analysis system analysis is term that collectively describe the phases of systems development. There has never been a universally accepted definition. And there has agreement on when analysis ends and design begins System analysis is defined as those phases and activities that focus on the business problem independent of technology

System Analysis We refine our definition of system analysis as fallows The survey and planning of the system and project The study and analysis of the exiting business information system The definition of business requirements and priorities for a new or improved system

Strategies for system integration and problem solving System integration is associated with application development project That is project produce information system and their associated computer application System architecture techniques can be applied to strategies information system planning and to redesign of business processes There are also many strategies or techniques for performing system analysis Modern structured analysis Information engineering Prototyping Object oriented analysis

Modern structured Analysis Modern structured analysis is a process-centered technique that is used to model business requirement for a system. The model are structured pictures that illustrate the processes input output and files required to business events (such as order) A model is a representation of reality. Just as “a picture is worth a thousand words” most models use picture to represent reality Model-driven development technique emphasize the drawing of models to define business requirement and information system designs

Information engineering Information engineering is a data centered but process sensitive technique that is applied to the organization as a whole(or a significant part such as a division) rather than on an ad-hoc project by project basis.

prototyping Prototyping is an engineering technique used to develop partial but functional versions of a system or application. When extended to system design and construction a prototype can evolve into the final implemented system. Two flavors of prototyping are applicable to system analysis Feasibility prototyping – Is used to test the feasibility of a specific technology that might be applied to the business to business problem. Discovery prototyping -Is used to discover the user business requirement by having them react to a quick- and – dirty implementation of those requirements.

Object-oriented Analysis Object oriented analysis techniques are used to study existing objects to see if they can be reused or adapted for new users define new or modified objects that will be combined with existing object into a useful business computing application.
