 Write down all transactions (deposit, withdrawal, debit, purchases) **right when you do them  Record check amounts in the register**  Register: booklet for recording all transactions by date, amount, where  Making deposits  **endorse any checks: sign the back  List all checks and cash  Make deposit in person or ATM (drive thru or inside) Use a debit card instead of a check
