The Ignorant Wicked There are those today who are ignorant of who Jesus is, (willfully and unnecessarily so) - (Acts 17:30,31; Rom 1:18-21) They persecute Him by persecuting His children. (Acts 9:4; 22:7,8; 26:14,15) They mock – they ridicule – they belittle those who truly follow Jesus.

The Fickle Wicked  Those who passed by – Mat 27:39,40; Mk 15:29,30  Wagged their heads saying “... Save yourself...” (Ps. 22:7.8)  The crowd that screamed “crucify Him” – (Mat 27:20-25)  The crowd that screamed out "Hosanna to the Son of David!..." – (Mat 21:8-11)

The Fickle Wicked  The fickle wicked are still around – (Eph. 4:14; Gal. 1:6-9)  Those who once professed faith in Christ and obeyed the gospel - (2 Pet. 2:20-22)  Those who turn away because of persecution or because they love the world – (Mat 13:20-22)  If immediate desires aren’t met -

The Religious Wicked  Chief priest, scribes and elders – (Mat 27:41-43)  Plotted to kill Jesus - (Mat 26:4,5)  Paid off Judas to betray Jesus – (Mat 26:14,15)  Had Him arrested – (Mat 26:47)  Held an illegal trial – (Mat 26:57-68)  Carried Him to Pilate – (Mat. 27:1,2)  Accused Jesus before Pilate – (Mat 27:12)  Persuaded multitude to ask for Barabbas – (Mat 27:20)

The Religious Wicked  There are still religious leaders today who stand opposed to Christ – (2 Pet. 2:1-3) False teachers are still turning the multitudes away from Christ – Causing division and strife - They are destroying the souls of men –

 Of the knowing wicked - The thief was saved – (Luke 23:42,43)  Some of the ignorant wicked learned the truth – (Mat 27:54; Luke 23:34; Acts 3:17; cf. Acts 10)  Many of the fickle wicked were saved – (Acts 2:38-47)  Many of the religious wicked were saved – (Acts 6:7)
