Recall from Spanish 1 how the verb gustar is used. You change it to match the thing you are talking about. You also always have to use a pronoun to identify who likes the object.

Me gusta(n) Nos gusta(n) Te gusta(n) Os gusta(n) Le gusta(n) Use the verb quedar to say how something fits or looks on someone. Quedar works like the verbs parecer and gustar. Me gusta(n) Nos gusta(n) Te gusta(n) Os gusta(n) Le gusta(n) Les gusta(n)

How would you say: I like those pants? Me gusta esos pantalones. Me gustan esos pantalones. No me gustan esos pantalones. [Default] [MC Any] [MC All] How would you say: I like those pants?

Use queda when talking about one thing. Use quedan when talking about more than one thing. (a mi) me queda(n) (a nosotros/as) nos queda(n) (a ti) te queda(n) (a vosotros/as) os queda(n) (a el/ella/Ud.) le queda(n) (a ellos/ellas/Uds.) les queda(n)

Estas botas me quedan grandes. Esa blusa te queda bien. (one thing!) That blouse looks good on you. Estas botas me quedan grandes. (more than 1 thing!) These boots are too big for me.

How would you say: “The shirt fits me”? La camisa me quedan. La falda me queda. La camisa me queda. [Default] [MC Any] [MC All] How would you say: “The shirt fits me”?

Esta falda me queda pequeña. Me queda mal. Adjectives like grande and pequeño(a), as well as adverbs like bien and mal, can follow quedar. All adjectives must agree with the noun they are describing, but the adverbs do not change form. Esta falda me queda pequeña. Me queda mal. This skirt is too small for me. It fits me badly. Estas botas me quedan grandes. No me quedan bien. These boots are too big for me. They don’t fit me well.
