Problem 12-5 The exact solution was not obtained for the above solution. It is reasonable to assume that the smaller mesh size is very close to the exact solution. Many approaches were taken to obtain the exact solution. The solution obtained below could not be evaluated for Cn.

Problem The numerical Solution is within 0.033% of the exact solution. The error increases with each time increment. The exact solution was obtained using MAPLEV and the approach listed on page 86.
