Frequency Scanning Interferometry Motivation : Measure any length (range 60 mm to 1.5 m) to 1  m Want to be able to - Measure inside ATLAS tracker during operation High radiation and low temperature -20 deg C Very little space : no access, have to measure remotely Components inside ATLAS must be low mass Must be maintenance free for 10 yr ATLAS lifetime AND…
