Department of Geography and Environmental Science (DGES)  Environmental Information in support of policy formulation, analysis and implementation –Masters Programme in Environmental policy and Planning (MEPP) –GIS and RS are taught courses that permeate into other taught environmental courses –GIS and RS computer laboratory with a current operational capacity of 30 students –Expansion is being seriously considered –  Undergraduate GIS and RS Courses –Currently two courses are: GIS and Advanced GIS and RS –GIS and RS are also permeating other courses  Data archiving activities: Landsat, MODIS, SRTM, Other environmental datasets
