Zeiss Axioplan 2 EPI Fluorescence Digital Deconvolution microscope. The 3i Everest system upright digital microscopy workstation: This microscope is composed of state-of-the-art optics, opto-electronics, software and computers optimized for the individual scientist's specific application. The microscope is fully integrates with SlideBook 4.0 software. It is equipped for all widefiled fluorescence applications as well as transmitted illumination applications. Common uses of this system include multi-channel fluorescence imaging, Ratiometric imaging, 3-D deconvolution, time lapse, large format montage. Available Fluorescent cube sets are: CY3, CY5, FITC, DAPI, 6 color Quantum Dot and JC1 ratiometric dye imaging.

Veritas Laser capture Microdissection The Arcturas Veritas Microdissection instrument can cut and capture structures from multiple tissue sections or cytological samples with just a few mouse clicks. All stage and optical movement, cameras, filters, and objectives are completely computer and software controlled. Each step of the microdissection process is documented and achievable. A variety of Slide and tissue Preparation Techniques offers the flexibility to use the slide and tissue preparation techniques best for your applications. The instrument accommodates membrane frame slides, membrane glass slides, and standard glass slides. Extract unique multi-cellular structures or single cell dissection. The Veritas system includes a high-sensitivity, variable integration time, color CCD video camera and red, green and blue filter cubes for the easy identification and precise dissection of fluorescently stained cells. Human prostate cells Fluorescently labeled vessels

Typhoon 9410 Workstation is a high performance gel and blot imager with the capability of microarray analysis. The system handles gel sandwiches, agarose and polyacrylamide gels, membranes, microplates, and microarrays. The Typhoon’s excitation sources and high-quality confocal optics allow for the sensitive detection of low-abundance targets. Red, green, and blue excitation wavelengths and a wide choice of emission filters enable imaging of an extensive variety of fluorophores. Automated four-color fluorescence scanning allows multiplexing of multiple targets in the same sample ensuring accuracy of analysis. Highly sensitive optics enable direct chemiluminescent imaging without intermediate exposure to films or screens. Non-fluorescence applications, isotopic imaging, chemiluminescence fluorescence applications, blot detection, gel stains, solution stains, covalent labels and Natural fluorescence imaging. Direct blue-excited fluorescence (457, 488 nm), direct green-excited fluorescence (532 nm), direct red-excited fluorescence (633 nm) chemiluminescence. When one of the scanning modes is selected, the appropriate optical components are automatically activated. The Typhoon scans gels, blots, and mounted or unmounted storage phosphor screens up to 35 × 43 cm. The instrument exhibits outstanding linearity, quantitative accuracy, and extremely low limits of detection. Densitomitry of image data is carried out with ImageQuant Image Analysis Software. Typhoon 9410 Workstation.

The Bioanalyzer 2100s primary function is to analyze the quality of the DNA and RNA of samples collected using Laser capture Microdisection. This system can also be used for ul volume flow cytometry and capillary electrophoreses. The Bioanalyzer 2100 electrophoresis set Includes electrode cartridge for USD RNA 6000 Pico LabChip Kit For high sensitivity analysis of total and mRNA samples. Bioanalyzer 2100 Lab on a Chip system. The Nano Drop 1000 instrument’s primary function is to quantify the amount of DNA, RNA or proteins contained within a very small sample of fluid I.E. <1ul of volume total. Full-spectrum UV-Vis absorbance analyses ( nm) for measuring absorbance of DNA, RNA, dyes, proteins and microbial cell culture. OD 1 ul of sample. Large dynamic range: ng/ul of dsDNA No dilutions for most samples. No cuvettes or capillaries required. 10 second measurement time ND-1000 Spectrophotometer.

Leica CM1850 UV Cryostat, Leica RM2235 Manual Rotary Microtome. The Leica CM1850 UV Cryostat with UVC disinfection system and the Leica RM Manual Rotary Microtome : Both have Holders for low profile and high profile disposable blades with pressure plate for both. Section thickness is continuously adjustable from 1 to 60 µm. The Ettan Spot Picker is an excellent tool for picking spots from two dimensional protein gels (2D gels). The Ettan comes with two different sized spot picking heads. The bigger head allows for coarse picking of spots and it picks up gel pieces with a diameter of approximately 1.6 mm. The smaller head is required for fine picking of spots with approximately a 1 mm diameter. The machine has the ability to resolve and pick two spots on a 2D gel that are 1 mm apart. Picked spots are automatically transferred to a 96-well plate. Manual spot picking can also be performed with a single click on the spot of interest. The selected spot is cut, sucked and flushed into any desired well of a 96-well plate. Ettan Spot Picker.
