Presentation transcript:

Establish barter agreements (vendors, media, etc.)

 Trading or exchanging a good or service for another good or service.  Ex: Posting Poland Spring’s banner at the event and on the course in exchange for bottles of water to give the runners who participate in the event.

 Agreement between two entities for the exchange of goods or services where both entities gain.  Ex. I will wash your car, if you take me to school for a week.

 Helps to decrease cost  If you are getting an item at no cost, your overall out of pocket expenses are lower.  Win for both parties involved  Both parties get the desired outcome they want per the agreement.  How can it be beneficial for a sport/event organization to develop a bartering agreement with a vendor? If the agreement helps decrease event expenses.

Imagine that you are the assistant to the marketing director of your favorite team or performer Create a master list of the goods and services for the event that you could provide the marketing director. Create a visual explaining why you think these good and services are a good fit and what your sales expectations are Which of these items could be bartered? Please explain your proposal
