Groupe Auchan operates in 16 countries.

Organisational chart

Business idea French group Auchan continues to expand locally with two established formats Auchan and Auchan City. Also the retailer plans to develop a project by which it could be more active in city centers. This can be done by implementing of Project City XS in Cluj-Napoca.

Business plan Objective: to help consumers adopt a healthy, balanced diet; a diverse, adapted and accessible product range; takes into account the customer’s feedback data with respect to product quality; proximity supermarket; compresses into a smaller area the same offer of a large store

Employees: Location -surface: 3000-4000 sqm; -close to the city center; Employees: -the total number of the employees: 150; Partners: -local partners near stores, forging direct partnerships with small-scale producers;

The company structure

Procedures Internal procedures: -accountability: the key to professional development; focusing on the sharing of power via the sharing of responsibility; -significant autonomy to each subsidiary (due to descentralized structure of the parent company); Legal procedures: -all the legal procedures that need to be done in order to register our company under Romanian law (perform Notary and Apostille procedures and file the documents with the Trade Register for registration of the Romanian company)

Costs to create a Romanian Company Costs depend on the type of structure, number of shareholders and directors, purchase of additional services such as Romanian VAT Registration, Registered Office, Virtual Office etc.; The Romanian Law requires a local registered office and is formalistic in regards to the documentation necessary for the incorporation of the Romanian firm; How to incorporate a branch or subsidiary in Romania Registration of a Romanian subsidiary or branch is similar to the incorporation of a regular SRL Company (Limited Liability Company). Nevertheless certain additional documents have to be provided if the shareholder is a foreign parent company;

Advantages: -accessible prices; -close to cutomers; -wide offer of products; -position; -well-known brand; -products and service quality is reaching customers expectation; Disadvantages: -high investment expenses; -logistics expenses; -risk of insufficient revenues.

Thank you! 
