Preparation for the June data taking with 7 modules : hardware Detectors ordered and ready for production. 2 out of 9 by end of week 4, to be tested before end of week 6, the rest by end of February FEC ready to order at a new company, thanks to Rui de Oliveira (the previous company, who made the prototypes, multiplied cost by 4.7) All the remaining hardware ready or almost. PC in DESY next week for cosmic trigger maintenance/upgrade and bring back material for testing new modules

Preparation for the June data taking with 7 modules : software Reminder: in December we had a software week with Carleton people (Madhu Dixit, Nicholi Shiel, Peter Hayman), indians from Kolkata, and Gilles de Lentdecker from Bruxelles, to check/improve the Micromegas standalone program and start implementation in Marlin TPC This week again with Keisuke Fujii, Peter Hayman and Gilles de Lentdecker, we managed to run the standard reconstruction on Micromegas data (Kalmann filter included). Now next step is to adapt to resistive foil.

Mechanics Activity within AIDA: – Study of new materials (Al/kevlar hybrid for instance): measurement of mechanical properties on samples – Calculations with these, and optimization of the structure (number of rows, beamlet size, etc…) for minimal deformation under weight and pressure. Starting of the work at DESY next week (P. Manil with Volker and Robert)
