Did you know that butterflies lay eggs just like chickens? What do you get when a butterfly lays an egg? Do you get another butterfly? Let’s read a story about butterflies and find out!

 What do you get when a butterfly lays an egg? Click on the blue star and draw what you think appears when the butterfly egg hatches.  Next, let’s look at Monarch Butterfly by Gail Gibbons.  Let’s think about the title and take a picture walk.  Finally, we will click on the purple star and record predictions for the story.  Listen while I read Monarch Butterfly by Gail Gibbons.  Throughout the story, we will stop and check our predictions. If our predictions are correct, we will check them off.  Think about our story.
