Sciamachy also seems to do this (division by CO2) - Direct comparison FTIR-satellite or comparison FTIR and satellite using a model ? Hydrogen, Methane and Nitrous oxide: Trend variability, budgets and interactions with the biosphere Set up model intercomparison - Archived simulations with N2O and CH4 are not very suitable for comparison with FTIR – comparison can only be done in a climatological sense, e.g. monthly mean - prescribed surface concentrations of N2O and CH4 were used until now  output from LMDZINCA and OsloCTm2 on ftp-server in /incoming/CTM - New model runs will be done this summer - Locations ( ), dates + times of FTIR measurements, averaging kernels of observed profiles for new model runs archive instantaneous or averaged FTIR observations ?  Instantaneous! - Comparison model-FTIR: every group will do the comparison for their own sites! - Model data will be provided in separate files for each site each day (at 12h LT or h LT mean)

(note that NCEP-ECWMF T-differences vary due to frequent model changes) CH4 cell measurements: provide results (July 2007) error budget: Frank distribute new microwindows for testing at other sites: Corinne test of taking water into account (dry air column averaged VMR ?), esp. at tropical stations Summary/Conclusions
