ANSWER Round:Time: 2 minutesStandard/Category: Biology QUESTION/ANSWERS: 1)Which is it? (5 points) ANSWER: Animal “A” 2)How many consistent differences between those that belong and the one that doesn’t can you think of? You will receive 1 point for each correct answer. You can submit as many answers as you wish, but you can only score a maximum of 15 points. (15 points) ANSWER: There are more correct answers to this question than I can list here, but we are looking for taxonomically significant differences. Some examples: A is a cnidarian, the others are molluscs; A has a sac-like gut, the others have complete guts; A has no true mesoderm, the others do; A is radially symmetrical, the others are bilaterally symmetrical; A develops nematocysts, the others do not (careful here, some nudibranchs store nematocysts acquired from their cnidarian prey, but they can not grow them on their own); sessile vs. mobile; planula vs. trochophore larvae; aceolomate vs. ceolomate; etc...
