Unit Name Campaigns The campaigns SF object provides the ability to track marketing projects such as: –Open House Events –Information Sessions –Print Advertisements/Mailers – Blasts etc You can manage campaigns fm a variety of channels Used effectively Campaigns can be utilized in calculating a Return on Investment (ROI)
Unit Name Campaigns & Leads You can easily relate leads to a campaign by: –Individually/Manually attaching a existing lead /contact –Use a SF Report to group and attach existing leads/contacts to a campaign –Import a group of leads/contacts from another source A web to lead form can be generated and placed on a website and tracked to a specific campaign (highly recommended best practice) You can also track lead responses within a campaign record
Unit Name Campaigns & Other Related Objects Calls, Task, & Events You can associate a task or event to a campaign record to track “to do” or calendar items (appt/mtg) related to the marketing project You may also want to log a call related to a campaign with the ability to create a related follow-up task to the call Files Google Docs can be affiliated with a Campaign Record so coworkers can easily locate a doc Other External files can be uploaded and attached to a campaign record
Unit Name Campaigns & Vertical Response (ESP) You can use campaigns to group the recipients of an blast sent via Vertical Response Service Provider (ESP) You can also track the activity such as “opened”, “clicked”, “unsubscribed”, and “bounced” within the lead record Vertical Response provides 10,000 free s per month for non-profit users A detailed description of Vertical Response will be provided in a separate presentation
Unit Name Creating a Campaign You can create a new campaign by selecting “Create New…” from the drop down list in the left side bar and selecting “Campaign” If you do not see “Campaign” as an option, contact your administrator as your profile settings may need to be edited
