Overview  Problem – It is very difficult to monitor all aspects of a patient’s recovery.  Approach – Use a simple and concise interface to provide a straightforward view  Solution – Careheart Interface

Requirements and Target Users Requirements  Intended for use in conjunction with an integrated system  Easy to use and understand Target Users  Caretakers of Heart Surgery Patients

Walkthrough

Usability Tests  Subjects – broad demographic range of potential users  Tasks – Simple walkthrough of program features.  Results – some features not yet completed, but suggestions mirrored future considerations

Conclusion  Careheart appears to be a success  Future enhancements – integrated database, diet suggestions, creation of reports  Further in-depth research involving doctors and caretakers to include their perspectives would be key
