Tears of the Saints

There are many prodigal sons, On or city streets they run, Searching for shelter.

There are homes broken down, People’s hopes have Fallen to the ground, From failures.

This is an emergency! There are tears from the saints, For the lost and unsaved,

We’re crying for them, “Come back home.”

There are schools full of hatred, Even churches have forsaken love and mercy.

May we see this generation, In its state of desperation, For Your Glory.

Matthew 5: 1-12 Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them. The Beatitudes He said: 3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
