Department of Applied Physics The Hong Kong Polytechnic University News & Events ( ~06) : Professor ZHAO Bairu from the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences paid a visit to AP and our group. Professor Zhao is one of the leading scientists in the field of superconducting materials in China. He will give a talk in AP on April : Congratulations! Miss ZHOU Xiaoyuan gave a confirmation presentation to the academic committee today. She has passed the confirmation exam : ISIF’2006. Miss ZHOU Xiaoyuan attended the International Symposium on Integrated Ferroelectrics’2006, Honolulu, Hawaii (23 to 27 April) : A paper titled "Hydrogen-related dynamic dielectric behavior of barium titanate single crystals" (Prof W.P. Chen of Wuhan University as the first author and Dr. Wang as the second author) appears in the May 15, 2006 issue of Applied Physics Letters (Vol.88, p ) : A paper titled "Preparation of MATO and TiO 2 /Ti photoelectrodes by magnetron sputtering for photocatalytic application" (Dr. C.
