- Lead Poisoning in Children - Children aging from 6 months – 6 years suffer from lead in their blood levels above federal safety threshold. A hauled lead poisoning prevention on 1981 because of classical political battle.

Fast Forward NYPIRG used ESRI’s ArcGIS desktop software to recalculate the statistics by city council district instead of zip code used before.

Maps make all the difference ESRI’s ArcGIS maps showed that two thirds of children with blood level above the threshold were represented by members of city council’s black and Asian caucus.
