One One lap around the school’s track is 1/4 mile. Alice ran two times around the track. Then she ran 5/6 mile home. How far did Alice run in all?

Two A recipe for trail mix calls for 3/4 pound of peanuts. Luiza only wants to make half of the recipe’s servings. How many pounds of peanuts should she use?

Three Bonita planted an oak tree and an elm tree in her backyard. Three years later, the oak tree was 5 1/6 feet tall, and the elm tree was 7 ½ feet tall. How much taller was the elm tree?

One There are three grades in Mona’s middle school – sixth, seventh, and eighth. One-third of the students are in sixth grade and 1/4 are in the seventh grade. What fraction of the schools’ students are in the eighth grade.
