Cabinet interior

 Replace the faulty unit  Set any jumper of the new drive as the old one (only for CD-RW unit)  Reassembly  Verify the drive operation Replace the CD-RW or the floppy drive

Replace the Hard Disk drive  Disconnect the data cable and power connector from the drive Data Cable Power Connector

Replace the Hard Disk drive  Unlock the drive as shown in figure

Replace the Hard Disk drive  Check that the spare drive is compatible with the MP530.  2.5” HDD with adapter

Replace the Hard Disk drive  Check that the spare drive is compatible with the MP530.  3.5” HDD low profile

Replace the Hard Disk drive  Always check the right interface on the motherboard: SATA Interface IDE Interface

Replace the Hard Disk drive  Set the jumper as the old drive (only for IDE interface)

Fault location/identification  If an error situation has occurred, the fault is normally identified from the symptoms observed. It is therefore important to record all these observations to help the maintenance person or service engineer. All error messages shown on the screen should be logged from this purpose.

IDSYMPTOMSPROBABLE ERROR SOURCE CORRECTIVE ACTION 1No visible or audible sign of power present at MP530. Fans are not blowing.
