Cart sliding up an inclined plane By Corina Bot

Given: M =   = Calculate: m=? x y Set up incline plane at an angle . Add weights in the cart to get mass M. Use calculated vale for friction coefficient  dd weights on the hook to have the cart accelerated up the plane; that is your experimental mass m.

Substitute T from eq. (4) and F f into eq. (1) and get m = ? x y For mass m: By definition: Substitute F N into eq. (3) and get F f. For mass M: Calculate % error between experimental and theoretical m.
