GPA makes a big difference At least 3.0 for many interviews and grad school applications; Must be in good academic standing for co-op and Study Abroad programs Both Cumulative & Departmental GPA’s must be at least 2.0 to graduate Academic Honors are granted on the following basis: Summa Cum Laude Magna Cum Laude Cum Laude Details on the Degree Services web page

Improve your GPA Attend all classes Get Help promptly: (don’t procrastinate!) See your instructor Go to the learning centers Counseling Services Test anxiety, difficulty focusing, depression, etc… Prioritize your activities Repeat course with CD or less 2 nd repeat requires approval from the Dean of Students 2 is the maximum times you may repeat a course. Most recent grade is included, even if it is lower than prior grade. If you don’t pass a class after 3 attempts, you may not be able to complete your degree and may have to change your major. Need to SAVE your GPA?
