Identity Theft Online Just Got Easier… Fast & Slow Connections It Happens Here…

Monitor your credit card situation regularly. Beware of all requests for your personal information. Do not respond to unsolicited s, links within s, or pop-up ads. Never reveal personal information in s, on instant messages, in profiles, on bulletin boards, or in chat rooms. Protect your computer from intrusions.

Shred all documents that you plan to throw away. Protect and store personal information at home. Don’t carry your social security card (unless absolutely necessary). Notify law enforcement if you see someone “dumpster diving.” Beware of “shoulder surfers.” Place a fraud alert on your credit.
