Research Background  What’s Australasian Journal of Information Systems (AJIS)?  An international quality, peer reviewed journal covering innovative research and practice in Information Systems.

Research Background  Fixed geographic locations to use fixed database schemas.  Data are separated from the commercial and open source material on the web.

Why Semantic Web  Most information on the Web page was designed for human-to-human communication.  An extension of the current web well-defined meaning  Content is machine understandable (i.e. metadata).

Why Semantic Web (cont.)  Semantic Web – integrate library collection metadata with web based and commercial information, like Google or Amazon.
